A fun time was had by all at the Precious Times Playschool this past week when we had Jack Foreaker come and do a puppet show for us. He was funny and energetic and really seemed to love the kids! Thanks to Lotta's family for treating the entire school in honor of Lotta's birthday!

A Few Reminders!

As the school year opens we want to remind you of a few things about PTPS.
Please remember that we are a PEANUT FREE ENVIRONMENT. This means that all the peanut butter lovers among us must sacrifice their morning peanut butter toast. This is important for our little ones! Sorry for any inconvenience, though.
Please remember as well, when bringing in snacks, please be sure they do not include any peanut products. Check those labels!
Also, many of you have asked if there are any items that we need through out the year that you might donate, How nice of you!!
Here are the items we use...A LOT: Clorox Wipes, Anti-Bacterial Gels, Paper Towels
We really strive to keep germs at bay by disinfecting surfaces, toys and little hands. Germs are YUCKY!

Welcome New School Year!
Hello Families! We hope you had a fun and safe summer! Life can fly by so fast, it's hard to believe that summer is over and school is upon us. We are planning to get off to a great start in just a few weeks. Orientation days are scheduled for Wednesday, August 29th and Thursday, August 30th, beginning at 9am.
Bring your student for a tour of the classrooms while you get acquainted with the teachers and fill out all your paper work. The first day of school is Tuesday, September 4th for 5-day students and Wednesday, September 5th for 3-day students.
Until then, maybe you can get in one more beach day!
See you soon!

Rising Sun Fire House Trip
We had a great time yesterday at the Fire House! The firemen and EMTs showed us a video on fire safety, gave us a tour of the station and let us get into the fire trucks and ambulance.
Sparky the fire dog was there too!
Thanks to all the parents and Grandparents who brought us and stayed to join the fun!

2012
Hello families,Can you believe that we are well into the new year? It seems that this school year has flown by! So far, we have had no snow days and the weather has been mild. We have enjoyed the indoor play equipment on the days that we could not use the playground. We have celebrated Gound Hog Day, Valentine's Day and have been learning songs and Bible verses about love. We even sang in the Janes United Methodist morning service.
Next week, on Thursday, Feb 23, we will be going on a Field Trip to the Rising Sun Fire Hall to see the fire trucks and meet some firemen!
